Hiring Swarland Village Hall
As well as hosting Ceilidhs, pantomimes and wine tasting evenings, Swarland Village Hall can also be hired for wedding receptions, parties and other events.

Commissioned in 1939 by the original Swarland Village Fountains Abbey Settlers’ Society, Swarland Village Hall is still a popular hub for the local community.

The village hall has a spacious dance floor, a small kitchen, toilet facilities and its own PA system. In 2022, safe access to the hall’s main entrance and ramp was improved. The hall was also redecorated throughout.

Though small, the Swarland Village Hall kitchen is well equipped, with a water heater, microwave and electric cooker. A serving hatch connects with the main hall.

Built with Cedar weatherboard on a brick plinth, the Grade II Listed Building has a traditional look and welcoming atmosphere. The hall is well maintained, with a central heating system providing comfortable temperatures in chilly weather.
