Developed in the 1920’s by Joseph Pilates, this popular exercise system can improve your core body strength and mental wellbeing.
These mat based classes are lead by Level 3 Mat Pilates instructor, Sandy Turnbull. The classes can be adapted for students of all abilities. As well as physical exercises, special breathing techniques are an important element of the Pilates system
The only equipment that you’ll need to bring to the class is an exercise mat recommended for Yoga or Pilates.
Sandy’s mat Pilates classes take place 9.30am to 10.30am every Thursday morning in Swarland Village Hall.
